Amy A. Hebert, CPA
President / Investment Adviser Representative
Amy A. Hebert, CPA, is an Investment Adviser Representative and the President and Founder of Hebert Wealth Advisors LLC. With more than 20 years of experience as a CPA and investment licenses earned in 2016, Amy brings a rare combination of tax expertise, investment management, and comprehensive financial planning under one roof. She holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, along with variable, life, and health insurance licenses.
Amy began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) after earning her BA in Accounting with a minor in Finance from Western Michigan University’s Lee Honors College. Her background spans public accounting, corporate finance, and human resources. She served as a corporate accountant at Meijer, where she focused on inventory and financial analysis and contributed to multiple retail improvement initiatives. She later specialized in employee benefit plan audits and individual tax preparation at a regional accounting firm.
Her career includes human resource and management experience as the 1st Vice President of Corporate Compensation & Benefits at Chemical Bank. In that role, Amy led compensation strategy for more than 2,000 employees and served as the primary authority on health insurance plan design, executive compensation, stock options, deferred compensation, performance share awards, pension planning, and merger and acquisition due diligence.
Before founding Hebert Wealth Advisors in 2023, Amy was a partner at a local firm, where she specialized in investment management and tax planning for individuals. Today, her firm is built on a holistic, highly personalized approach that integrates financial planning, tax strategy, and investment advice. Amy works closely with clients through every stage of life, always focused on clarity, discipline, and long-term freedom.
Amy was voted Best Financial Planner in the Midland Daily News Readers’ Choice Awards in 2025 and 2024, a reflection of her approachable style, proactive communication, and deep commitment to putting clients first. She is a member of the AICPA, MICPA, and the Northeastern Michigan Estate Planning Council, serves on MyMichigan Health’s Advisory Council, and is a former board member of Midland Open Door. She is also a member of P.E.O. Chapter CB and has long been active in community events and fundraisers.
Born and raised in Midland County, Amy believes great financial planning starts with honest, human conversations. She creates an environment where questions are welcomed, confusion is expected, and no one feels rushed or talked down to. Outside the office, she enjoys running, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.
Julie Wilkinson
Senior Customer Service Associate
Julie Wilkinson is a Senior Client Service Associate with Hebert Wealth Advisors. Her business degree in Management and Marketing has allowed her to follow a career assisting others on their financial journey. Working in the financial advisory industry since 2017, she prides herself on providing clients with a warm and caring experience.
Having worked for Amy at her previous firm, Julie is delighted to reconnect since gaining industry knowledge and experience while working directly for Cetera Financial Group. During her time with Cetera, she aided top advisors nationwide and was a founding member of the Cetera League of Excellence. Julie is also part of the Cetera Women’s Impact Network, which focuses on empowering, developing, and inspiring women in finance. She is excited to help clients turn financial aspirations into reality, guided by values that bring a better quality of life to those HWA serves.
Julie feels that growing with the families Hebert Wealth Advisors has served over the years since her employment with J.F. Lehman Investment Services, is an honor and privilege, where many of them have come to feel like extended family. She is passionate about supporting clients through major life events, including the birth of a new child, and setting up a 529 plan, or helping raise cash to purchase a new house, as well as being able to provide comfort, and ease financial stress when a loved one passes away.
Having worked for a few family businesses, as well as a couple Fortune 500 Companies, including Dow Chemical and Leprino Foods, Julie loves that she and Amy are able to provide customers with the red-carpet experience of a large business while creating that personal connection.
In addition to supporting HWA’s core ideals of investing in a better future for their clients, Julie looks forward to continuing philanthropic endeavors including Adopt A Family, volunteering through Cancer Services, disaster relief fund raisers, and Rock the Street, Wall Street. As a metastatic breast cancer survivor, she is blessed to have a strong support network, has taken time to slow down and enjoy the sunshine on her face, and most importantly recognizes the value in giving back to the community, especially when others are in need.
Julie resides in Midland with her husband and their two Boston Terriers. She is very close with her nieces and nephews and loves spending time with them. In her spare time, you can catch Julie listening to a vast array of music, tuning in to a true crime podcast, or picking rocks on one of the Great Lakes.
